A brief letter has been issued by Deputy Registrar regarding Child Care Leave (No. CCL/2011/CS-III/2227/ dated August 19, 2011). It says that college may appoint Guest Teacher/ad-hoc teacher against teachers availing child care leave. This was definitely one of the major concerns.
There are many issues which have not been clarified in that:
1. How do you decide who will get when?
2. what about those who were granted child care leave earlier?
3. How long it may be available?
4. In women colleges, there may be many applications. So how do you grant these?
